THE SOLUTION TO END HOMELESSNESS STARTS WITH HOUSING.

The solution to end homelessness is more complex than providing individuals with food and shelter. Founded in 1985, DuPagePads is the largest provider of interim and permanent housing, coupled with support services to help individuals become self-sufficient. These vital support services enable the individuals we help to receive case management and life coaching, employment support such as job coaching, and engagement with employers—effectively stopping the cycle of homelessness.

Every year, millions of children die from preventable causes such as pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria and undernutrition. Hunger is still causing nearly half of deaths in children under 5 years old. From this data, we estimate at least 6,200 children die each day from causes related to undernutrition.

Established in 1983 as Ecumenical Adult Care and fueled by the collective vision of 15 religious institutions, we’ve been steadfast in our mission to offer a nurturing facility for aging adults.In 2018, Ecumencial Adult Care changed their name to Riverwalk Adult Day Services and expanded services to adults 18 years and older.
